BMGT 1091: Introduction to Business Processes
This course is an introduction to enterprise systems with an emphasis on SAP software. This includes the fundamentals of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems concepts and the importance of how they are used within an organization. Students will have an applied curriculum that takes them through the following business processes: financial and cost accounting (FICO), production, sales, material planning, human resources, and inventory & warehouse management. Students will learn the front-end end-user perspective of each of these areas on the most current SAP system and become comfortable with creating standard business documents.
ITSC 109: ERP Configuration
This capstone course in ERP systems leads students through the official SAP TERP10 certification course culminating in the SAP professional certification exam. Students will complete a rigorous curriculum that includes the integration of the complete supply chain and business process to include FICO, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Sales, MRP, Inventory & Warehouse Management, Enterprise Asset Management, Project Systems, and Business Intelligence. The knowledge base will include the integration of organizational levels, master data, business processes, and reporting. After completion of this final review, students will take the SAP TS410 exam.
ITSC 1092: Enterprise System Tools, Concepts, and Careers
Explores emerging trends in ERP systems, including new tools, big data, and data analytics. Students analyze real-world case studies on ERP implementation and gain insight into industry challenges and solutions. The course also introduces various career paths available in enterprise systems and prepares students for opportunities in the field.
BMGT 1097: Business Process Integration with Simulations
Focuses on integrating business processes through interactive ERP simulation exercises. Students work in teams to make business decisions related to product development, pricing, production, and distribution. These simulations demonstrate how ERP systems support decision-making and operational efficiency across departments.
BMGT 1095: Capstone Certification
A comprehensive capstone course that prepares students for SAP certification. It covers the integration of full business processes including finance, purchasing, manufacturing, sales, and inventory management.
