Are you a graduate with a BSN and an MA credential (CMA/RMA) looking to start your career in academic leadership? Orion Technical College, formerly Hamilton, is offering a unique opportunity to grow with us during a strategic period of expansion.
We are seeking a credentialed professional to assume the role of Program Lead for our Medical Assisting program, with the potential to be promoted to Program Director of Undergraduate Studies for Nursing & Allied Health in early 2026. This position will initially support instructional delivery for Allied Health programs and transition into a leadership role as enrollment grows. This includes overseeing adjunct staff and contributing to the growth of the RN to BSN program through instruction and leadership.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and support the MA program and allied health programs, ensuring quality and accreditation compliance.
- Teach courses in nursing and allied health programs as credentialing allows.
- Recruit, mentor, and guide faculty.
- Coordinate clinical/practicum placements and support student success.
- Participate in curriculum development, program improvement, and strategic planning.

Brief Description:
Responsible for contacting potential candidates, interviewing them on campus, and determining program fit. Includes presenting at local high schools and generating leads through public speaking.
Schedule: Three days (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM), two days (11:30 AM – 8:00 PM), and one Saturday per month.
Must live locally or within commuting distance. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Public speaking and sales experience are a plus.

Director of Financial Aid
Responsible for managing financial aid disbursement, refunds, and account receivables. Works with operations and finance teams on reconciliations and ensures accurate fund movement. Provides timely customer service to students and staff.
This role is part of the senior leadership team and requires participation in weekly meetings. Based in Davenport, Iowa, with remote oversight of the Ohio campus and occasional travel.
Facility Staff
Responsible for daily maintenance, repairs, and renovations. Duties include equipment maintenance, custodial work, event setup/teardown, and general facility support.
