This fun and engaging class is designed as an introduction to Ayurvedic philosophies and massage techniques, and includes protocols for client-based therapies and introduces ideas for self-care.

Jeannie is a licensed massage therapist and certified Ayurveda therapist with a Master’s degree in Education from Ohio University. She received her Ayurveda Therapist’s certification at Chakrapani Clinic and Research Center in Jaipur, India, and has had the opportunity of studying alternative and herbal therapies with several teachers in India and the US. Her background includes specialization in Ayurveda, in addition to neuromuscular therapies, myofascial release, herbal therapies, aromatherapy, energy therapies and yoga. Jeannie is currently an associate professor of Massage Therapy at Hocking College and maintains her Massage Therapy practice in Athens, Ohio.
