Program Advisory Committees (PAC) represent a critical resource in ensuring the relevancy and application of college programs and meeting the needs of business and industry. PAC helps to ensure quality assurance for our programs. They not only provide our school with an early "heads up" on emerging trends and new technologies, but also play an instrumental role in the development of new programs and the monitoring of existing programs.
Our advisory committees are made up of a cross-section of persons external to the institution who have a direct interest in, and a diversity of experience and expertise related to the particular occupational area addressed by the program. Orion Institute makes an effort to make sure our program offerings keep pace with industry, and that the school’s resources reflect current occupational trends and PAC is an important part of this.
